How to take care of your Polyurethane (PU) Bag
Despite our PU bags being durable and waterproof, they sometimes need some TLC too! To clean dirty areas, use a cloth and some warm, mild soapy water to gently spot clean. Additionally, if needed, you may use Goo Gone to spot clean the difficult areas, then later air dry your bag. If you notice any wrinkles in the bag, do not apply heat, instead, stuff the bag and let it sit for a few days for it to regain its shape. Further, when your PU bag is not in use, we recommend storing it in a cool and dry place.
How to take care of your Cork Bag
Naturally, cork is a durable material as it is naturally found in nature, however, cork is weatherproof – not waterproof. Cork bags can endure some weather conditions, though, once in contact with the elements we recommend wiping down the area and air-drying as soon as possible. To clean your cork bag, use some warm, and mild soapy water to gently spot clean. For tougher areas, Goo Gone, or a disinfectant wipe can be used – followed by air drying. When your cork bag is not in use, properly store it in a cool and dry place, ideally in a dust bag.
How to take care of your Faux Suede / Nubuck Bag
When taking care of your faux suede bag, we discourage any water on the product as the material is not water-proof and could tarnish. Instead of water, we suggest using rubbing alcohol alongside a cloth and gently rub the affected areas until any stains are gone. Afterward, lay the bag flat and allow the bag to air-dry. If you notice your bag becoming stiff, brushing the bag with a toothbrush or soft brush will aid the material in drying properly.
